LPN or Medical Assistant Urgent Care 12 hours per pay period

Responsibilities:  

A Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for assigned urgent care patients, as directed by the provider.  This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider in charge, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. A Medical Assistant is responsible for general office duties. These duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, referrals, ordering supplies, calling in prescriptions, etc. Assists physicians in providing direct patient care.

Qualifications: 

Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses, currently licensed in the State of Ohio, and BLS certified is required. Previous experience in an Urgent Care preferred. Graduate from an accredited school for Medical Assistants or proof of certification as a Medical Assistant. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
