LPN/RN Pediatric Nurses

Ivy Lane Pediatrics allows nurses to get one-on-one experience with their patients!  We also offer insurance benefits and PTO to our full-time staff, and we often show our appreciation to our employees. Private Duty Nursing is a unique specialty that allows nurses to work directly with patients in their homes, at school, or any other non-clinical environment. It allows nurses to accompany their patient through their normal life routine while keeping the patient healthy and safe.

Ivy Lane is a nurse owned company, so we understand how balance the needs of the Patient and the Nurse. We are flexible and able to work with school schedules and homework. We offer full medical, dental, vision and life insurance, and PTO to our full time, and limited benefits to our part time employees.

Being the primary medical care giver in the home, you have the opportunity to learn skills that you may not normally provide in a hospital or clinic. Every nurse is trained one-on-one with each patient to follow doctor’s orders and manage the specific needs of the child in their care.

You are able to learn specialized skills like care and management for tracheostomy tubes, ventilators, feeding tubes and seizure disorders, as well as ROM, CPT, and much more. You are able to provide a comprehensive patient care approach and working one-on-one, you are able to dedicate 100% of your attention to the well-being of one patient at a time. You reap the rewards of your time spent with your patient as you get to know them and watch them develop and grow.

*Qualifications:

Besides having an active nursing license and a current BLS certification, the most important skills are compassion, empathy, awareness and concern.

Ability to interact without prejudice with a wide range of individuals

We’re looking for nurses who want to play an active role with the patient family for the collaborative care and support of the child.
