Job Description - Lube Technician



Job Description:


As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filter replacements & regular maintenance. Your work will help ensure that every vehicle in our service department operates at its peak performance, maintaining the high standards that Chevrolet is known for.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.




  • Inspect vehicles for fluid levels, tire wear, and overall vehicle performance.




  • Replace air filters, cabin filters, and other components as needed.




  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the service area.




  • Assist with other service and repair tasks as directed by senior technicians.




  • Adhere to all dealership policies, including safety and cleanliness standards.




  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.




  • Communicate with the Service Advisor and customers regarding any additional service recommendations.




Requirements:




  • Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in an automotive service role is preferred.




  • Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.




  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.




  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.




  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.




  • High school diploma or equivalent.




  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and a strong work ethic.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is a plus, but not required.




  • Experience working with Chevrolet vehicles is an advantage.




  • Basic tools and equipment experience.
