Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you would be responsible for preparing and performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines/equipment.

Job Expectations:

• Fabricate edges, sides, corner radius, angles, and sink cutouts using tools required in the process


• Verify all pieces were checked, fabricated, and returned to the same cart number and checked in the tracking sheet as complete


• Meet daily productivity goals


• Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, and measuring their dimensions


• Record product and process data on specified forms when needed


• Assist in minor repair and maintenance on assigned equipment


• Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof boots, face mask, etc.)


• Assuring all work areas are cleaned and organized

What you need to succeed

Professional Experience

Desired:

· Experience in fabricating Marble, Granite, and Quartz

· Experience in Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing fields

· Experience operating a forklift

Knowledge

Required:

· Basic knowledge in math (adding, subtracting, measurements, reading measuring tapes, etc.)

· Basic knowledge in maintenance

Skills

Required:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
