Job Overview

Join Cargill as a Machine Operator and play a hands‑on role in getting our products safely prepared for customers. In this role, you’ll operate packaging and conveying equipment, monitor production, and support quality and safety standards across the plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, using technology, and being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly.

What You will Do:

• Operate production equipment including packing lines and powered mobile equipment.


• Set up monitor and adjust machines to ensure products meet quality and packaging specifications.


• Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues using hand and power tools.


• Record production quality and downtime data manually and electronically including SAP entries.


• Move unload and store finished products using forklifts pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.


• Follow all food safety regulatory and safety procedures including lockout tagout and support housekeeping and quality checks.


• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.


• Perform duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.


• Must be 18 years or older.


• Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.


• Able to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, 
  bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPE.


• Basic computer skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• At least one year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or plant environment.


• Forklift operating experience.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
