MACHINE OPERATOR - 2nd shift

Position Summary

Operate machinery relevant to the production of core components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Needs to understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they are related to this position.
•  Must read and interpret production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quality plans.
•  Use fixed and variable measurement equipment. 

CORE MACHINE OPERATOR "C"

• Basic Machine Operations on Weld Prep machine, and Core Assembly. 
• May require 0-1 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 
• Requires a high school diploma. 
• Has to pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days. 
• Reports to a Lead or supervisor.

Skills and Attributes

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternate solutions.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. 
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Enter and record data in SAP, Excel, and other software programs.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required, previous manufacturing experience is preferred. 

Safety and Personal Protective Equipment

• Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
• Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
