Machine Operator - Stator Vane Cell

JOB TITLE/LOCATION:

Machine Operator - Stator Vane Cell – Santa Ana, CA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Operate and monitor four automated CNC grinding machines and two automated dry film coating machines to maintain continuous production flow.


• Perform routine in-process inspections using measuring and inspection equipment to verify product conformity.


• Conduct pin checks and other required quality verification activities throughout the manufacturing process.


• Clean parts and prepare components for subsequent manufacturing operations.


• Perform laser marking operations in accordance with engineering and customer requirements.


• Load parts into ovens and monitor processing cycles to ensure specification compliance.


• Perform basic machine maintenance, including grinding wheel changes, touch-off adjustments, and other operator-level corrective actions.


• Complete required production, quality, and traceability documentation accurately and in a timely manner.


• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, work instructions, and company policies.


• Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, maintenance technicians, and team members regarding production status and operational needs.


• Cross-train and provide operational support throughout the Stator Vane Cell as required.


• Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and business objectives.

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. 

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud. Also, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00/hour
