Machine Shop Finisher

At ECS Composites, our Finishers put the final touch on precision-machined parts before they move to the next stage of production. If you enjoy hands-on work, have a sharp eye for detail, and take pride in a job well done, we'd love to meet you.

Our schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving you a three-day weekend! Friday overtime may be required during peak production periods.

What You'll Be Doing

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from machined parts 
• Finish parts using hand tools, grinders, files, sandpaper, and rotary tools 
• Read blueprints and work orders      
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges 
• Identify and report quality concerns 
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe 
• Support your team and assist with other duties as needed 

What We're Looking For

• Attention to detail and pride in quality work 
• Enjoy working with your hands 
• Ability to read blueprints (or willingness to learn) 
• Experience using measuring tools is a plus 
• Dependable with a strong work ethic 
• Team player with a positive attitude 
• Commitment to safety 
• Basic math and measurement skills 

 Physical Requirements

• Stand for most of your shift 
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly 
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the day 
• Work in a manufacturing environment 
• Safely operate hand and power tools 
• Wear required PPE 
• Perform repetitive hand movements with accuracy 
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
