What you will do
Disassemble, position, reassemble, test, and paint moderate to highly complex engine and compressor equipment
Use a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment safely and accurately
Set up and run test operations following engineering specifications
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance and repairs
Conduct risk assessments before starting work and moving materials
Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, and report problems or hazardous conditions right away
Keep your work area and the facility’s equipment and tooling clean, organized, operational, and safe
Complete required documentation and business training accurately and on time
Work closely with your team and take on additional duties as assigned
Who you are
High School Diploma or GED
0–2 years of experience in mechanical test and assembly/disassembly, or heavy equipment repair and maintenance
Able to read and interpret drawings, prints, schematics, and engineering specifications
Basic math skills, and familiarity with tools and equipment operation
Working knowledge of safety regulations and good housekeeping practices
Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, and perform other physical tasks
Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Valid driver’s license
A team player with mechanical aptitude and attention to detail who can work independently to engineering specifications
Preferred
2 years of experience in operations or service center applications
Strong knowledge of natural gas engine and compressor equipment
