About the Role:
The Maintenance and Grounds Worker is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and caring for MBWR properties and grounds. This role supports departmental goals by performing a variety of assigned maintenance and upkeep tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs routine maintenance and upkeep of roads, trails, facilities, and grounds
  • Operates, cleans, and services equipment and tools
  • Completes lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and weed control
  • Assists with minor repairs, pressure washing, and general upkeep
  • Helps set up pavilions and supports public events
  • Follows all safety guidelines and performs other assigned duties
Core Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ verifiable job related employment experience required.
  • Must possess certification of “Mandatory Reporter Training” or obtain certification during the first week of employment.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and an insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
  • Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed.
  • Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
  • Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.
  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.

  • Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and perform physical tasks
