Maintenance Associate

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (3PM - 11PM) 

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Associate will be responsible for numerous responsibilities relating to keeping the building well maintained. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in office set up including assembling and disassembling office furniture. 
• Move furniture, appliances and/or equipment in offices, warehouse, or shop area including file cabinets, desks, chairs, etc. 
• Cleans kitchens, restrooms, lounge areas, walls, windows, window blinds/shades, ceilings, and doors using cleaners and disinfecting solutions.
• Polishes windows, mirrors, and fixtures. 
• Picks up litter and/or recyclable materials, empties large and small trash containers, removes miscellaneous debris.
• Removes snow and ice from building entrances, sidewalks and other areas as required by utilizing snowplows, salting machine, shovel, etc. 
• Maintains that all equipment and work areas are kept clean and in orderly condition. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required. 
• Must have the ability to prioritize job duties and work independently and/or in a team environment with minor supervision. 
• Ability to operate a Pallet Jack
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools. 
• Required to stand, push, pull, reach, lift, bend, walk for extended periods of time. Heavy lifting required.
