Maintenance B -CO

Essential Job Functions:

• Cover the press line for all hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.

• Work on and make permanent improvements to all building, production and maintenance systems.

• Complete appropriate documentation and logbooks.

• Support and assist all work centers.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building, production and maintenance equipment.

• Assist in setting molds and dies when necessary.

• Keep machinery, equipment and plant structure in operating condition.

• Maintain and install piping, fittings, valves, gauges, traps and all types of controls for high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems and steam and air lines.

• If assigned second or third shift, complete die changes and project work.

• Preventative maintenance, lubrication of various machinery.

• Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Assist in shut down and start-up of the plant according to procedures.

• Cover for vacations and illness on the shift and be able to work overtime on short notice.

• Has responsibility for continuous improvement, corrective actions and quality of products.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic and wiring print. Must be able to prioritize workload with other work centers.

• Must possess a valid tow motor license.

• May be required to work overtime with little or no notice.

• May be required to rotate shifts when needed.

• Must possess good oral and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

• Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle a wide variety and diversity of tasks.
