MAINTENANCE JANITOR 1 1st shift

The employee is responsible for facility maintenance and floor maintenance using the appropriate equipment and processes. The employee is required to comply with departmental safety requirements, contribute to the quality improvement process and interface and communicate within the department.

Job Functions

• Employee is responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility
• The employee is required to pass and obtain a forklift certification. It is essential the employee knows how to operate forklifts, power jacks and floor scrubbers
• The employee will be required to operate various hand tools and power tools
• The employee must be able to climb ladders and work in elevated environments
• The employee must have the ability to comprehend and carry out reasonable instructions from the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead person pertaining mainly but not limited to training issues. When performing this job, the worker summarizes and/or condenses information. Employees are required to possess this knowledge and/or skill at the time of hiring
• Hours 6:30am-3pm mandatory overtime as needed

• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to read and write English
