Maintenance / Janitorial Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to support daily facility cleanliness and assist with production-related material handling. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment and operating equipment to collect and bundle scrap materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of workspace


• Collect scrap materials from production areas in a timely manner


• Operate machinery and equipment to bundle and prepare scrap products for recycling or disposal


• Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working conditions


• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times


• Assist with basic tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred (not required)


• Ability to operate or willingness to learn equipment used for bundling scrap materials


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift


• Dependable with good attendance and work ethic


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Industrial/manufacturing setting


• Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures


• Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
