As part of the Ministry Operations team, the Maintenance Lead (ML) is responsible for preventative maintenance, managing work orders, and coordinating and maintaining relationships with vendors during general maintenance and routine upkeep of The Austin Stone facilities and equipment. The ML resolves problems as they arise. The Maintenance Lead will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
In order to lead effectively at The Austin Stone, a Maintenance Lead must have the following competencies:
Administration - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and support multiple communications channels and needs. Integrate multiple perspectives and synthesize them into a cohesive plan. Strong ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, with dependability and excellence.
Interpersonal Skills & Communication - Energized by meeting, engaging and connecting with others. Has clarity of speech and proper use of grammar. Able to negotiate and make effective presentations to diverse groups. Able to communicate and work within a complex organizational structure with multiple layers of input.
Process Oriented & Organizational Skills - Proven skills in creating, implementing, maintaining, and following through on processes. Able to work on and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven troubleshooting skills. Able to successfully develop new and better ways to work and promote a continuous improvement mentality.
Collaboration - Collaborate across the organization and with various ministry partners. Exemplifies and defends the Doctrines, Convictions, Philosophies, and Strategies of The Austin Stone Community Church as outlined in our Culture documents.
