Maintenance Lead

Browning, an industry leader in the Shooting and Hunting Outdoor industry, is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Lead. Some weekend work is required. 

SUMMARY: 

Responsible for maintaining the outside grounds both summer and winter, assists with sprinkler systems, and assists with any small maintenance repairs within the building interior and building grounds. Serve as back-up on security and fire system response. Serves as backup supervisor of other workers in maintenance department when Physical Facilities Manager is absent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and all other duties as assigned.

1. Responsible for maintaining outside grounds for a clean working environment.

2. Assists with any small maintenance repairs inside and outside the buildings including sprinkler systems.

3. Assist in warehouse and load freight trucks when needed to ensure timely shipments.

4. Assist with transporting visitors and employees between the Salt Lake City Airport, Browning office and numerous hotels. Also helps with delivery and pickup of packages, to Salt Lake City and Ogden areas.

5. Mixing herbicides and spraying weeds on property. 

High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The applicant will need to be able to lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. On occasion, the candidate will be required to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
