Maintenance Manager

The beautiful Residence Inn by Marriott, East Peoria, has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Manager! You will be responsible for the properties daily and preventive maintenance along with any remodeling projects that may be needed.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, first shift with flexibility for other shifts depending on demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing daily maintenance of a 111-room property


• Overseeing and handling preventative maintenance initiatives


• Hands on involvement with remodeling and refurbishing projects


• Installing new equipment


• Light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and systems troubleshooting and repairs


• Collaborating with subcontracts as needed


• Monitoring the department budget and controlling expenses


• Maintaining the pool and accompanying equipment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


• College or advanced vocational training preferred


• Ability to complete certifications in OSHA, pool operations, CPO certification, Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, or licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter


• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to be insured by the company
