Maintenance Manager

Reporting to and working closely with the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Manager helps oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the community while supporting a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, families, and employees. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands that maintenance in the Senior Living Community is about more than maintaining a building. The condition, safety, and appearance of our community directly affect the residents who call it home.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical maintenance skills with leadership, organization, and a commitment to excellent service in a senior living environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous building maintenance or facilities experience required; experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily housing, or a similar environment preferred.


• Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred.


• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs and respond effectively to urgent situations.


• Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.


• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.


• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to building emergencies when necessary.
