Maintenance Manager

We have an opening for a Maintenance Manager (working first shift hours supporting a 24 hour operation) at our Port Washington, WI location.

Kleen Test Products is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Sunset liquid filling manufacturing facility in Port Washington, WI. This is not a role for someone who manages from behind a desk. We are looking for a leader who will work alongside their team, troubleshoot equipment issues, develop technicians, drive continuous improvement, and ensure equipment reliability across a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

Critical Requirement: Candidates must have maintenance leadership experience supporting liquid filling manufacturing operations or highly similar equipment and processes. Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

This position is responsible for leading maintenance operations across multiple shifts, developing maintenance technicians, managing preventative maintenance programs, improving equipment uptime, and driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead maintenance operations supporting a multi-shift manufacturing environment
• Manage and develop maintenance technicians and support staff
• Drive equipment reliability and reduce downtime through effective maintenance strategies
• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical equipment issues
• Partner closely with production leadership to support operational goals
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on machine efficiency, safety, and performance
• Utilize and optimize CMMS systems to improve maintenance effectiveness
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable
• Balance long-term maintenance planning with day-to-day execution and urgent production needs
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility

• Proven maintenance leadership experience in a liquid filling manufacturing environment

• Experience leading maintenance teams across multiple shifts
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment similar to liquid filling, packaging, and production operations
• Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime
• Experience implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs
• Experience using and optimizing CMMS systems
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Candidates Who May Not Be a Fit

This role is likely not a fit for individuals who:

• Have maintenance experience but no leadership experience
• Come primarily from facilities maintenance rather than manufacturing equipment maintenance
• Prefer directing work from an office rather than being actively involved on the production floor
• Lack strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
• Do not have experience supporting liquid filling or similar manufacturing operations
