Maintenance Mechanic

Are you a detail‑oriented aviation maintenance professional with a passion for safety and operational excellence? Join Masco Corporation’s Corporate Aviation team at our DTW campus in Romulus, Michigan. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic – Flight Operations to support the reliability, safety, and readiness of our aircraft, hangar facilities, and ground support equipment. 

This is a hands‑on, highly collaborative role within a professional flight operations environment that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on hangar infrastructure and ground support equipment (GSE). 

• Support aircraft readiness by assisting with inspections, fueling, and coordination with flight crews and vendors. 

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure flawless operation. 

• Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with FAA and Masco protocols. 

• Assist with snow removal, HVAC systems, lighting, and general facility upkeep. 

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and support after-hours operations. 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED ; A&P Certification . 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility and aviation maintenance. 

• Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation safety protocols. 

• Proven ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and outstanding attention to detail. 

• Valid driver’s license; CDL or airport operations clearance is a plus. 

Work Environment: 

• Full-time, onsite at the DTW campus. 

• May require occasional weekend or evening work. 

• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in varied weather conditions.
