Position Title: Parts Clerk
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Plant Engineer
Responsibility:
- To order parts
- Check parts ordering log
- Use Somax to purchase items
- Issue purchase orders --must be priced first
If it's signed, it's ok to order or put out for quote
- Use quotes for competitive pricing
- Maintain spread sheet to show pricing has been checked
- Take receiving tickets and check them off as received in Somax
- Maintain a copy of the Oxidizer and freezer charts
- Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Other duties as given.
