Maintenance Supervisor

Job Type:  Full-Time / On-Site

Shift + Hours: Full Time during the day. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

The Maintenance Supervisor / Leader serves as the primary administrative and field leadership focal point for maintenance operations, personnel, and contract service. This role is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective execution of maintenance work, providing a critical interface between Maintenance and Operations while managing both internal resources and external service contracts.  You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

• Supervise the Maintenance Department and its function including Lubrizol employees and contractors on site.


• Lead and Model safety-first and best practice behavior.


• Provide On-Call troubleshooting of Plant equipment issues / problems.


• Lead, communicate, coordinate,  and collaborate with all of our departments especially our operations shifts.


• Assist in Maintenance planning; parts inventory and ordering; budget .


• Coordinate & supervise external service vendors.


• Communicate through meetings, Maintenance Tier Meeting & Plant Tier Meeting.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.


• 10+ years of experience in a Chemical manufacturing/processing facilities.


• Experience with safe maintenance practices for Process Safety Managed (PSM) facilities.


• Experience with and working knowledge of chemical facility equipment including reactors, filtration systems, and instrumentation.


• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP is preferred)


• Experience leading teams or projects.
