Maintenance Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Opelika, AL. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production goals through effective preventive and corrective maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience in industrial maintenance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a focus on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of work orders and rapid response to equipment breakdowns
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs for production machinery, support equipment, and facility systems
• Monitor spare parts usage and inventory to reduce downtime and support operational efficiency
• Lead, train, and mentor a maintenance team of 10–20 technicians to build technical capability and teamwork
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and operational procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of technicians

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience identifying equipment performance issues and implementing corrective actions
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance systems and workflow management tools
