RIGHT NOW.\n\n##### \n\nJohn Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled \u0026 veterans. \n\nPrimary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Moline \nFunction: Operations (CA) \nTitle: Maintenance Supervisor (2nd shift; 2pm-10:30pm) - 120003 \nOnsite/Remote:Onsite Position\n\n## Your Responsibilities\n\nAs a Maintenance Supervisor for John Deere Cylinder Works located in Moline, IL, you will:\n\n * Lead Response to Critical Production and Facility Downtime: \n\u2022 Directs maintenance teams to respond swiftly to equipment failures, minimizing production disruptions \n\u2022 Coordinates cross-functional efforts to resolve technical issues and restore operations efficiently\n * Supervise and Support Skilled Trades: \n\u2022 Provides day-to-day direction and technical guidance to electricians, millwrights, and other maintenance personnel \n\u2022 Ensures maintenance tasks are executed safely, effectively, and in alignment with operational priorities\n * Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Programs: \n\u2022 Ensures timely execution of PM schedules to prevent unplanned downtime \n\u2022 Drives TPM initiatives to improve equipment reliability and engage frontline teams in proactive maintenance\n * Identify and Implement Equipment and Facility Improvement Projects: \n\u2022 Leads efforts to enhance equipment uptime and facility reliability through targeted improvement initiatives \n\u2022 Collaborates with engineering and production teams to prioritize and execute projects\n * Ensure Skilled Trades Meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) Objectives: \n\u2022 Holds maintenance teams accountable for adhering to safety protocols and quality standards \n\u2022 Monitors performance metrics to ensure timely task completion and cost-effective operations \n\u2022 Promotes a culture of continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals\n\n\n\nVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position\n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * 2 or more years of experience leading and coaching maintenance teams.\n * 2 or more years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment\n * Ability to work 2nd shift hours (2pm-10:30pm)\n * Ability and flexibility to work variable shifts based on production needs including weekends \n\n\n\n## What Makes You Standout\n\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.\n * Experience supervising skilled trades employees in a union environment.\n * Experience with safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment.\n * SAP PM module experience\n\n\n\n## Education\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in an Engineering/Technology or equivalent work experience\n\n\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get\n\nAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
