Maintenance Support Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Support Technician to assist with the upkeep and organization of our CNC machine shop. In this role, you’ll support the maintenance team with daily tasks, help keep machines running smoothly, and ensure the shop remains clean, safe, and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance technicians with routine tasks and minor repairs.

• Refill fluids in CNC machines (coolant, lubricants) and monitor levels.

• Help with cleaning and maintaining shop equipment and machinery.

• Keep maintenance areas organized and tools properly stored.

• Respond to basic maintenance requests, such as clearing debris or moving parts.

• Support with machine start-up/shut-down processes as directed.

• Restock supplies and assist with inventory of tools, parts, and consumables.

• Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times.

• Communicate clearly with team members about any issues or needs.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Basic understanding of tools and shop equipment.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a machine shop or industrial setting.

• Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus (but not required).

• Forklift or pallet jack experience is helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working around machines, noise, and lubricants.
