Stuart Hall School is an independent Episcopal day and boarding school in Staunton, VA that serves students in grades 6-12. The School is currently seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Maintenance Team Lead, who is responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily operations of campus facilities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role provides hands-on leadership and day-to-day direction for maintenance and housekeeping, working alongside the team to maintain school buildings and grounds.
About the Position
The Maintenance Team Lead is a working supervisor responsible for coordinating the daily operations of Stuart Hall's facilities, which includes providing hands-on leadership to the maintenance and housekeeping staff. The core responsibility is to ensure the safe and efficient upkeep of campus buildings and grounds, which involves managing work orders, performing general maintenance and repairs, and acting as the accountability link between the facilities team and the Director of Strategic Operations.
This is a 12-month, full-time, hourly, non-exempt position paying $25 to $30/hour, commensurate with experience. The Team Lead reports to the Director of Strategic Operations.
