Maintenance Tech II -UGS

Detailed Description:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure operational reliability.

• Diagnose machine breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize production downtime.

• Support maintenance and repair activities for buildings, grounds, and facility equipment.

• Assist with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.

• Install and maintain lighting, shelving, workstations, electrical components, and other facility improvements as needed.

• Create and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and records for manufacturing equipment.

• Maintain accurate forklift inspection and maintenance logs.

• Obtain and maintain forklift certification as required.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on CNC mills and lathes.

• Complete light plumbing repairs and facility maintenance tasks.

• Support office and facility reconfigurations, including moving furniture and hanging signage.

• Perform basic HVAC and refrigeration maintenance activities.

• Conduct hydraulic and standard fluid changes on manufacturing equipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company procedures, HSSE policies, quality standards, and management directives.

• Participate in all required meetings, training, and development activities.

• Ability to communicate, including the ability to read, write, and speak English and promptly follow verbal and written directions in English.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective maintenance.

• Experience working with manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.

• Familiarity with CNC mills, lathes, hydraulic systems, and industrial equipment.

• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility maintenance tasks.

• Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and industrial equipment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment required.

• Previous experience in a maintenance or construction-related role preferred.

• Current electrician certification required.

• Ability to obtain forklift certification.

• US Citizen - Must have ability to obtain visa and passport for international travel
• Must be able to travel 40% to 60%, mostly international

Additional Details:

This position operates in a manufacturing environment and requires frequent interaction with machinery, equipment, and facility systems. The Maintenance Technician II must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work safely around industrial equipment, and maintain a strong focus on safety, preventative maintenance, and operational efficiency.
