## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Incorporated\n\n## Job Area:\n\nFacilities \u0026 Security Group, Facilities \u0026 Security Group \u003e Maintenance Technician\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nThe General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of interior and exterior building maintenance and repair tasks within a commercial environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service-oriented mindset to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent. \n\u2022 2+ years of Maintenance Technician or related work experience.\n\n### \n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n * Perform general maintenance and repair work on interior and exterior building systems.\n * Complete repairs and installations including, but not limited to:\n * Drywall repair and painting\n * Plumbing piping repairs and plumbing fixture installation/repair\n * Drain snaking and basic plumbing troubleshooting\n * Suspended ceiling reconfiguration and repairs\n * Flooring installation and repair\n * Adjustment and repair of interior and exterior doors\n * Minor cabinet repairs\n * Hanging and mounting items on walls\n * Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.\n * Accurately document work and navigate internal systems using basic computer applications.\n * Participate in a 24/7 after-hours on-call rotation as required.\n * Travel to job sites using a personal vehicle to complete daily assignments.\n * Deliver professional, courteous service while interacting with internal teams and customers.\n\n\n\n### \n\n### Required Skills and Experience\n\n * General maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial environment.\n * Proficiency with common hand and power tools.\n * Strong customer service and communication skills.\n * Basic computer proficiency to use internal systems and software.\n * Valid driver\u2019s license with a clean DMV record.\n * Ability and willingness to be part of an on-call rotation and travel between job sites.\n\n\n\n### \n\n### Preferred / Additional Skills\n\n * Ability to read and understand building blueprints.\n * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\n\n\n\n### \n\n### Education Requirements\n\n * High School Diploma or equivalent.\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
