Job Description - Maintenance Technician

BECO Asset Management, LLC is seeking a full-time MaintenanceTech for its apartment community in Hampton, Virginia. The opportunity is immediately available with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; including shared on-call rotation evenings and weekends to respond to emergency calls. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn the trade and jump start their maintenance career!

Responsibilities Include:

Keep grounds and common areas free of trash and debris, change light bulbs and filters
Keep dumpsters and corresponding areas clean and in good working order
Clean and maintain pool and pool area
Assist in preparing all vacant apartments to market ready condition
Assist in responding to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner
Perform on-call emergency services as required (rotation shared with the maintenance team)

Qualifications Include:

Available for night/weekend on-call duty (generous call pay)
Ability to work in any type of weather (cold, snow, heat, rain, etc.)
Building Maintenance experience preferred (Multi-family experience is a definite Plus!)
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public on and off the property
