Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.


• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs throughout the hospitality facility.


• Identify maintenance needs and recommend repair or replacement of equipment as necessary.


• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.


• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to guests.


• Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for events or special functions as needed.


• Conduct troubleshooting to diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in the hospitality industry.


• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.


• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests.


• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.


• Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance standards relevant to building maintenance.
