As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be a key part of the team — responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and helping turn units quickly between tenants. You'll work across a variety of trades, so versatility is a must. This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same.
What You'll Do
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders
• Perform general repairs including drywall, carpentry, painting, and flooring
• Assist with plumbing and electrical repairs as needed
• Complete unit turns — addressing cosmetic damage and preparing units for new residents
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety and EPA compliance
• Perform and document preventative maintenance on equipment and common areas
• Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors when specialized work is required
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in apartment, building, or facilities maintenance
• Working knowledge of at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall)
• Professional certification in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical repair is a plus
• Ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions quickly
• Strong communication and customer service skills — our residents are your customers
• Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize a busy workload
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license preferred
