Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Tech

Location: The Center, just of Russell in Missoula and group homes around Missoula

Your Role:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on residential homes, administrative offices, day program facilities, vehicles, equipment, and grounds
• Complete general carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs
• Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, irrigation maintenance, weed control and snow and ice removal
• Complete work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and repair documentation accurately and on time 
• Maintain vehicles, trailers, tools, and maintenance equipment in safe working condition
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on repairs and facility improvement projects as needed
• Assist with facility improvement projects and occasional after-hours emergencies

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Five (5) years of licensed driving experience with an acceptable driving record
• One year of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, construction, or related skilled trade experience preferred
• Technical or vocational training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and time management skills
• Basic computer skills, including email and electronic work order systems
• Ability to pass required background checks
