Smoker Property Management LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain residential rental properties and company facilities throughout Lancaster County and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance and repair work across our residential properties and company facilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders professionally and in a timely manner
• Perform general repairs, including:
• Basic electrical work
• Plumbing repairs
• Carpentry and drywall repairs
• Painting and touch-ups
• General property maintenance
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce future repair needs
• Assist with exterior property upkeep and seasonal maintenance tasks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members
• Respond to occasional after-hours emergency maintenance calls when necessary

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman services
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and dependable

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand and power tools necessary for routine maintenance work
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the day
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
