At Pinnacle Lodging, our success isn't just built on the properties we manage or the services we provide. It's built on our people. We are a team driven by passion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating exceptional experiences. As a leader in the luxury vacation home industry, we specialize in property management and vacation rentals. But what sets us apart is our culture.
At Pinnacle Lodging, we push boundaries, embrace challenges, and grow together. We balance professionalism with authenticity and confidence with humility. Success here isn't just about business growth. It's about the relationships we build, the experiences we create, and the meaningful impact we make every day. That's where you come in.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Technician at Pinnacle Lodging, you’ll be the hands-on problem-solver who keeps our vacation properties safe, comfortable, and guest-ready. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and respond quickly to repairs so downtime — and disruption to guests and homeowners — stays to a minimum.
If you show up for people, take pride in the details, and treat every property like it’s your own, keep reading.
This is an in-person role based out of our office in Breckenridge, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Inspections: Walk properties on a set schedule to catch issues — a dripping faucet, a failing furnace — before they become guest complaints.
- Preventative Maintenance: Service HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems on schedule, including seasonal prep like winterizing ahead of ski season.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and fix issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry — often same-day, since a broken system in a guest home can’t wait.
- Guest-Ready Turnarounds: Handle quick-turn repairs between reservations so every property is spotless and fully functional for the next guest.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to protect the guest experience.
- Tool & Equipment Use: Work confidently with hand and power tools to complete repairs, installations, and light construction.
- Documentation: Log completed work, materials used, and system condition in our work order system so the team has an accurate maintenance history.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the Lodging team and outside vendors to keep repairs and projects on schedule.
- Safety First: Follow all safety protocols and flag hazards before they become incidents.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
