Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform property maintenance across our communities. The role is highly hands-on, with a strong focus on HVAC and chilled-water systems. This position is responsible for completing work orders, troubleshooting building systems, maintaining units and common areas, coordinating vendors, and ensuring properties are maintained safely and to company standards.


Key Responsibilities



  • Complete daily maintenance work orders and prioritize urgent repairs.

  • Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.

  • Conduct routine inspections of units, buildings, and common areas.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and safely.

  • Coordinate with vendors when specialized repairs are required.

  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

  • Ensure maintenance work complies with company policies and safety standards.

  • Support the overall upkeep and appearance of assigned properties.

  • Oversee daily maintenance activities and provide guidance to maintenance staff as needed.


Required Qualifications



  • 3+ years of hands-on property maintenance experience.

  • HVAC certification required; valid EPA certification/license required.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.

  • Previous lead or supervisory maintenance experience preferred.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to maintenance priorities.

  • Property management software experience is a plus.

  • English proficiency required, bilingual proficiency preferred.
