Maintenance Technician

Do you love seniors and also consider yourself handy? If so, this may be the perfect job for you!

Looking for an experienced maintenance person who can service all 10 of our small assisted living locations (16 bed homes) and help to keep them in good repair. This position will have a company van and competitive pay based on ability and knowledge. The optimal person for this position is someone who works independently who has above average problems solving skills. We are looking for someone with the following (but not limited to) knowledge.....

-basic knowledge/ability in carpentry

-minor plumbing

-ability to repair appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, etc.

-repair and paint rooms upon move out and as necessary

-ability to install microwaves and other appliances

-minor electrical i.e. repair/replace bathroom fans,

Requirements:

• GREAT ATTITUDE, one of compassion and a sincere desire to help others


• Ability to take direction, follow rules exactly, be proactive and thoughtful


• Successful completion of a Criminal History check


• Pass the post-offer drug test


• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs


• Be 18 years of age or older


• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
