Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits in the greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area. This is a 1st shift position with OT.

• Troubleshoot; diagnose; and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  


• Provide P.M. for facilities equipment and production equipment.
  


• Suggest modifications and improvements to PM and accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work order.
  


• Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair.
  


• Monitor equipment performance. Notify supervision of deviations to normal speeds.
  


• Review and provide input on production fixtures and new facility equipment
  


• Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site.
  


• Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
  

Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics.
  


• High School diploma or equivalent.
  


• Experience in manufacturing environment
