Maintenance Technician 2nd & 3rd Shift

Glen-Gery, one of the nation’s leading brick manufacturers, is looking for a talented and knowledgeable  Maintenance Technician to join the team at our plant location in Shoemakersville, PA. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.

• 2nd and 3rd shift available

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This is a hand’s on job, which includes mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, basic carpentry and math skills.  An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree from a Technical School or University preferred or equivalent work experience


• 2+ years of industrial environment experience
