Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping our property running smoothly and ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable home. Your responsibilities include:
- Completing work orders promptly based on priority
- Turning and making apartments move-in ready between resident occupancy
- Painting/staining (interior and exterior)
- HVAC maintenance and repair (EPA certification preferred)
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs (e.g., copper pipe sweating, outlets, switches, light fixtures, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers)
- Maintaining property grounds and common areas
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Keeping a clean, organized maintenance shop
- Participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation with other team members
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for a resourceful, hands-on professional with experience in apartment maintenance. Here’s what we need:
- 1+ years’ experience in maintenance
- EPA Certification preferred (for HVAC work)
- HVAC Certification and CPO Certification are a plus!
- Proficiency in drywall repair, painting, and carpentry
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Water heater experience (both electric and gas)
