  • Collaborative and energizing environment. We have an enjoyable, dynamic and collaborative work environment.

What you’ll do

  • Maintain and repair specialized stringing equipment — including tensioners, pullers, generators, and hydraulic systems — to keep high-voltage transmission projects running smoothly.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using

    • advanced diagnostic tools and OEM schematics.

    • Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and control systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

    • Uphold strict safety and compliance standards, conducting thorough inspections and adhering to OSHA and company procedures.

    • Support field operations, traveling to job sites for on-the-spot repairs, inspections, and technical assistance.

    • Manage parts inventory and maintenance records through digital systems to keep equipment performance and traceability at the highest level.

What we are looking for

Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Vocational/Technical certification or Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, Heavy Equipment Repair, or a related field is highly preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing heavy industrial, construction, or mining equipment.

    • Proven experience specifically with conductor stringing equipment (e.g., TESMEC, Condux, Pullz-All) or similar cable-handling machinery in the utility or construction sector is a significant asset.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

    • Electrical Systems: Strong capability in troubleshooting and repairing up to 480V three-phase electrical systems, controls, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and low-voltage DC control circuits.

    • Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Expert knowledge of open and closed-loop hydraulic systems, including component removal, re-sealing, and calibration.
