Maintenance Technician - Mechanic

All Star Rents is a family owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and is operated by the 3rd generation of family members today. Our 13 locations provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles.

Our Vallejo location is looking for a Maintenance Technician. This position is critical to our success as you will be part of a team assisting our customers as well as using your mechanical skills to repair and service our construction & landscaping equipment.

This is a full-time hourly position which will require Saturday shifts. Shifts regularly end at 5:30pm.

Job Duties

• Completing quality control inspections
• Loading and unloading equipment for customers and assisting with safety regulations
• Completing repairs and services
• Making equipment deliveries as needed
• Keeping safety top priority
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Partnership with branch and fleet mechanics as needed
• Attending and assisting with training as applicable
• Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor
• Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents

Bootcamp training- 90-day hands on training program includes everything you need to know about service our equipment and customers the All Star Rents way.

• 18 years or older
• Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record
• Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Be able to lift 50lbs unaided
• Minimum 1 year of Mechanical job experience required- services and inspections.
• Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software
• Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment- Certifications a plus!
• Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal- Bilingual a plus! 
• A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace
• Satisfactory Background check
