Apartment Maintenance Technician | Residential Communities | Quad Cities, IA

Pay: $20.50-$30.00 per hour/depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes
• Perform preventive maintenance throughout the community
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents through quality turn and renovation work
• Maintain building systems, common areas, grounds, and amenities
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as scheduled
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety policies and property standards
• Assist with inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience performing maintenance in apartment communities, multi-family housing, hotels, or similar residential settings
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing repairs, appliance diagnostics, and HVAC troubleshooting
• Ability to complete apartment turns, including drywall repair, painting, fixture replacement, and finish work
• Experience prioritizing resident service requests while maintaining quality workmanship
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices for residential property operations
• Ability to use maintenance software, work orders, and mobile technology
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to community appearance
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors
