1. Understands and adheres to the Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. ADA

2. Prepares and positions patients correctly for breast examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol including proper documentation on images and required questionnaires. ADA

3. Assumes responsibilities for designated areas and/or procedures and produces good technical images, reviewing completed images for quality, completeness for the type of test ordered. ADA

4. Assists physicians during procedures and performs nursing duties as necessary. ADA

5. Maintains all necessary records in EPIC, PACS, and patient logbooks. ADA

6. Performs quality assurance and calibrations as needed. ADA

7. Technologists are required to work in case of emergency procedures or when situations arise in the department. ADA

8. Maintains the cleanliness of all areas, equipment and accessories. ADA

9. Reports all malfunctioning equipment to radiology supervisor. ADA

10. Keeps rooms well stocked and monitors supplies. ADA

11. Performs routine office duties, such as answering the phones, checking previous reports/ films, documents information on patients request, utilizes EMR and PACS systems. ADA

12. Notifies front desk staff upon exam completion. ADA

13. Shows radiologist images and calls report to attending physician and documents communication if necessary (STAT readings). ADA

14. Introduces themselves and educates each patient or family member regarding the examination that is ordered. ADA

15. Observe all rules and regulations regarding radiation safety for patients and staff. ADA

16. Performs all other related duties as assigned. ADA
