Manager

Hondos Steakhouse, an established, high-volume upscale steakhouse in Richmond is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. We are looking for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Position Overview:

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily front-of-house operations while maintaining the high standards of service, hospitality, and professionalism our guests expect. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operation
• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly
• Train, coach, and develop front-of-house staff
• Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and presentation
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and labor management
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
• Uphold company policies and maintain a positive work culture

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience (upscale or fine dining preferred)
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Wine and steakhouse knowledge is a plus
