Job Description - Manager

We are seeking qualified candidates for the  Full-Time Program Manager position. To manage and supervise the overall assigned services and programs in compliance with Agency standards and applicable guidelines, focusing on a mental health population experiencing crisis design, and ensure the implementation of services to facilitate participants' recovery while promoting continuous quality enhancement and growth of the programs assigned; provide necessary intervention and support to enhance continuity of service. Receives general supervision from the Director of Residential Services. Supervises and ensures training of all Crisis Intervention Program team members.


Other Responsibilities but not all-inclusive:


· Coordinate and monitor daily program operations and ensure a safe, healthy, secure, and pleasant environment.
· Ensure service implementation, planning, and coordination are consistent with applicable standards and participant needs.
· Review all referrals, obtain, evaluate, and analyze relevant personal, familial, social, vocational, and cultural data; assess risks and apply admission criteria; and maintain the intake process for all prospective admissions.


Qualifications:
· Must meet the qualifications for the Mental Health Specialist position
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling, education, or related fields with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, or any combination of experience, education, or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required.
· Strong clinical skills and knowledge of crisis intervention program models.
· Proficient communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.



Scope:
· Frequent talking and listening.
· Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop, and bend, which may include direct intervention with clients.
· Must be available for local travel.
· Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
· May require crisis intervention in emergencies. Required to carry a beeper and cell phone and be available to respond to emergencies.
· May be required to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
· May be required to attend training to become a certified agency investigator. May conduct investigations and participate in the agency rotation of on-call investigators. This requires carrying a beeper and responding to investigation hotline calls during on-call beeper coverage.
· May be responsible for 24-hour on-call beeper coverage as assigned or needed.
