Job Description - Manager - Back of House

Location: Colleyville, Texas

About Chick-fil-A Colleyville Blvd. & Main: At Colleyville Blvd. & Main Chick-fil-A, our kitchen is the foundation of everything we deliver to guests. We're looking for a BOH Manager who takes ownership, develops other leaders, and is relentlessly committed to food quality, safety, and team excellence.

Your Role: The Back of House Manager ensures consistent execution of daily kitchen operations by leading shifts, coaching team members, and upholding Chick-fil-A's standards of food safety, quality, and operational excellence. This role is a critical link between strategy and execution — overseeing BOH systems, developing team leaders, managing inventory, and aligning every shift with the mission and values of Colleyville Blvd. & Main Chick-fil-A. The BOH Manager drives short-term results while building a team capable of long-term growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•     Lead and supervise all back of house operations as a Manager on Duty, overseeing kitchen team and BOH Team Leaders.

•     Execute and coach food safety protocols: Food Safety Assessments, Recipe/Service Assessments, and temperature checks.

•     Manage inventory systems including truck orders, waste tracking, and prep forecasting.

•     Maintain elite kitchen cleanliness and organization across all prep, cook, and storage areas.

•     Develop BOH Team Leaders through real-time coaching, feedback, and accountability.

•     Collaborate with the BOH Director and leadership team to continuously improve operations.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

•     An experienced kitchen leader with a track record of holding high standards under pressure.

•     Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive about identifying and solving problems.

•     Committed to developing others — not just executing tasks, but building people.

•     Comfortable with inventory systems, food cost management, and operational metrics.

•     Experience in restaurant management preferred; Chick-fil-A experience a plus.

•     Deep alignment with Chick-fil-A's mission, values, and food safety culture.
