Job Description - Manager, Business Development

Job Description

As iOttie’s newly created Manager of Business Development you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our Sales team.  You come to us with proven sales techniques as well as strong analytical skills.  This position will sit in our NYC office

You will:

·         Review, analyze and evaluate new business channels for current and future iOttie products within the North American and European markets. 

·         Create competitive analysis and iOttie corporate and retailer specific presentations.

·         Assist in refinement and Implementation of overall iOttie business strategy.

·         Serve as point of contact within organization for select business partners.

Qualifications

·         Analytical yet creative sales acumen.

·         Minimum 5 years’ Sales or Business Analyst experience preferably within Consumer Electronics or similar track.

·         Experience working with National and / or Regional retailers.

·         Comprehensive understanding of US retail landscape. 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication, strategic thinking, organization and multi-tasking skills.

·         Comfortable working autonomously.

·         Advanced proficiency of Microsoft office suite with focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Education/Training 

·         Bachelor’s degree.

·         Understanding of different sales techniques.

·         Advanced understanding of manufactured products.
