Key Responsibilities\n\nOperates in close collaboration with outsourced Logistics Operations providers and internal organization. Planning Ordering, Purchasing and Customer Account Specialists in local region\n\nEnsures optimum inventory levels; conducts physical inventories for verification of inventory levels.\n\nDetermines staffing requirements; ensures effective recruitment, training, and retention of key staff to enable staff development.\n\nManages/oversees effective warehousing according to needs.\n\nManages commitment methodologies and processes.\n\nGenerates necessary documentation, including activity/status reports, operation review input, and excess/obsolete analysis.\n\nAdministers company policies, including yearly performance review, that directly affect subordinate employees.\n\nCreate and submit claims for AMAT lost or damaged materials and assist suppliers with their parts claim\n\nOther Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own job family and basic knowledge of other related job families.\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Applies understanding of how the team relates to other closely related areas to improve efficiency of own team\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Has formal supervisory responsibilities; sets priorities for and coaches employees to meet daily deadlines \n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Uses judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems \n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and its contribution to the business unit, department or sub-function\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issuesMay be required to interact with outside customers, vendors or suppliers\n\n\n\nPosition requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times.
