The Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Divisions of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism & Nutrition and Gastroenterology & Hepatology, partnering with physician and operational leaders to advance patient access, workforce engagement, innovation, care model transformation, and operational performance. The role will lead key initiatives focused on clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and sustainable growth, while evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, digital solutions, AI applications, and innovative care models that enhance patient outcomes and practice efficiency. Using data and performance insights to guide decision-making, the Manager will foster collaboration, lead cross-functional efforts, and support the successful execution of division and institutional priorities.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The Manager within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is a key member of the leadership team and has a diverse role in managing multiple outpatient and inpatient specialty areas for several provider types. The manager role will directly support the Divisions of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Pediatric Rehabilitation. The manager partners with physician leadership in various departmental committees including Clinical Practice, Visibility, Professional Development, and Quality/Safety/Patient Experience. Additionally, due to the diverse nature of the practice, the role will collaborate with several areas outside PM&R including but not limited to Spine Center, Orthopedics, Mayo Clinic Childrens, and Neurology. Direct reports include outpatient therapy manager, procedural technicians, office manager and therapy systems specialist.
Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine
The Manager provides operational leadership for multiple clinical divisions within the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine on the St. Marys Campus, including Neuro/Radiology, Multispecialty Anesthesia, and Central practice areas, along with supporting the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). The role partners with divisional physician leaders to advance practice goals, enhance patient care, support workforce engagement, and drive strategic and operational initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
• Serve as the administrative partner for designated anesthesia clinical divisions and allied health practice areas
• Collaborate with physician leaders to develop and implement strategic, operational, quality, and workforce priorities.
• Provide leadership for employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and professional development activities.
• Foster collaboration across clinical, operational, and administrative teams to promote best practices and achieve organizational goals
• Support implementation of departmental priorities and change management efforts across assigned practice areas
Nephrology and Hypertension
The Department of Nephrology and Hypertension is seeking a Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the dialysis practice, with a focus on the care beyond walls home dialysis expansion, innovation, patient experience, quality, operational excellence, and advancing financial sustainability across the Rochester-based dialysis program. The Manager will serve in a triad leadership model with Physician and Nurse leaders across 14 outpatient dialysis units and partner closely with enterprise colleagues. Through multidisciplinary collaboration, strategic execution and strong business acumen, this position will help shape the future of the dialysis program across the enterprise.
Obstetrics & Gynecology
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Manager who is interested in operating at both the operational and strategic levels, translating priorities into clear plans while maintaining a strong focus on people, process, quality, and patient experience. This position will provide leadership and operational support across Gynecology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Responsibilities include supporting complex clinical and surgical practices, advancing outpatient operations, and coordinating innovation initiatives involving external partnerships and emerging business development opportunities.
Parking and Transportation
The Manager for Parking and Transportation plays a critical leadership role in supporting safe, efficient, and welcoming arrivals and departures for patients, visitors, and staff across the Mayo Clinic campus. This position is responsible for overseeing parking and transportation operations and working in close partnership with concierge, valet services, the City of Rochester, Rochester Public Transit, and other key operational teams. Together, these partnerships ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience that reflects Mayo Clinic’s commitment to exceptional service. As Mayo Clinic continues to transform the arrival and departure experience, this role will be instrumental in operationalizing new approaches that incorporate AI and automation. The Manager will lead efforts to improve and integrate processes that create a coordinated, patient-centered experience—from the moment of arrival through departure—while maintaining safety, efficiency, and service excellence.
