This position reports to a Senior Manager and is a matrix report to one or more Business Management Directors. This leadership position will be based in El Segundo, CA or Clearfield, UT. \n \nThe Manager Pricing Cost Estimating 2 will support teams located at multiple facilities, which may include El Segundo, CA, Clearfield, UT, and other Northrop Grumman Sites. This position may require travel up to 25% of the time \n \nIn this role, the Manager Pricing / Cost Estimating 2 will lead a team of professionals responsible for the development of cost products supporting one or more business units. Provide integrated P\u0026E thought leadership to the business teams, appropriate staffing to develop cost volumes, ROMs, BPEs, cost models, or other analysis required to support the business objectives. Able to step in and provide hands-on technical support, development and training to a team of professionals.\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\n * Lead a pricing and estimating team supporting multiple lines of business and programs across various sites\n * Manage team staffing, resources, tools, and training as needed\n * Direct team execution in all aspects of cost volume quality, compliance, and products in response to customer\u2019s request for proposal (RFP) \n * Brief senior management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, and government auditors on a variety of issues as required\n * Engage with Senior P\u0026E/Program/Business Unit leadership to develop pricing and estimating strategies needed to successfully capture follow-on or new business in line with company objectives\n * Establish strategic relationships with program, business unit, and functional leadership; and customer counterparts to enhance team operations, resources, and deliverables\n * Understand and adhere to internal and external policies and procedures as it pertains to the role \u200b\n * Support DCMA/DCAA offices and Government Compliance regarding proposal and business system audits\n\n\n\nOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Finally, we pioneer: setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others. \n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelors Degree and 7 years of related Business Management experience, or a Masters Degree and 5 years of Business Management experience.\n * Must have thorough understanding of pricing and estimating methodologies, quality, and compliance requirements (FAR/DFARS) related to cost volumes and Cost Estimating System requirements.\n * Experience evaluating/analyzing, integrating, and communicating Pricing/Estimating and financial impacts, cost issues and risks to senior and executive leadership.\n * Experience in development of proposal cost or pricing strategy\n * Working knowledge of Enterprise Pricing Software (i.e., ProPricer)\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active DoD Secret Clearance\n * Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance\n * Experience leading proposal audits and RFI process\n * Experience developing proposals of various contract types (e.g. CPIF, CPAF, CPFF, FFP, etc.), complexity, size, and acquisition phase.\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $219,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
